Another week, another entry into the film canon that we didn’t know we didn’t need! Russ and Jared are diving into the trailer for Hungerford (2014). Starring Drew Casson, Georgia Bradley, and Sam Carter, this found footage horror film is bound to be a fun ride. Watch the trailer along with the guys!
When we last left Russ and Jared, it was starting to hit the fan in Lavalantula (2015). Poor Steve Guttenberg dealing with crazed fan, Patrick Renna, and our teenage afterthought characters were about to discover that lavalantulas can lay eggs inside you that will explode from your body. It’s worse than they thought. Russ and Jared were excited for this week’s Police Academy reunion–aka Lavalantula (2015), but unfortunately there was too much Patrick Renna and not enough Michael Winslow. Also starring Steve Guttenberg (the Gutes! the Goots?!), Marion Ramsey, Nia Peeples, and thousands of fire-spitting CGI lavalantulas, the fellas were at least entertained by TV-14 gore. Is this movie smarter Russ and Jared think? No, no it’s not.

Didn’t get enough poorly imitated Irish accents at St. Patrick’s Day last week? You’re in luck! Thankfully Russ and Jared spare us their own accent work, but Matthew Goode did not have that foresight in Leap Year (2010). Also starring Amy Adams and (sort of) Adam Scott, the best thing about this movie is the scenery.
